of a fascinator, I knew I’d chosen well, when I rolled up to my Sydney gate to find beautiful South Korean flight attendants elegantly attired in reassuring pale blue, cream and white with a fascinator both in their hair and around their necks. Twice as fascinating! What was more fascinating still was that the scarfs and hair pins remained in place, faultless right to the end of a 10 hour flight. Maybe they have secret fascinator adjustment stations behind those crew curtains up the back past the galley.I have never flown Korean Air before, but I’d have to say I am very impressed. It was not just that I was fascinated, nor that the fare was a blessing, but I was also extremely well looked after. My schedule necessitated a stop-over in Seoul, and my travel agent discovered that accommodation was arranged by the airline. One might think this means a free night’s sleep in a pokey overnight hotel, but no, not for this little black duck. What this meant was transfers, dinner and breakfast in the Central Park Hotel with a 6th floor view of the park across the road, complete with faux-traditional Korean buildings, a giant spa bath, and the most perfectly comfortable bed and fluffy pillows I could imagine.
Ten out of ten Korean Air!
